The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S) is a professional medical degree designed to train competent Ayurvedic physicians capable of delivering preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare.

Intake Capacity & Duration

  • Approved Intake Capacity: 60 students per academic year
  • Course Duration: 5½ years ( 4½ years of academic study & 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship )
  • Admission & Eligibility Criteria : Admissions are based on NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) scores, as per the guidelines of the Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu, through the competent Selection Committee. Candidates must qualify NEET and fulfill all prescribed eligibility criteria, including academic qualifications and applicable government norms.
