Admissions to the B.A.M.S programme are conducted in a transparent, merit-based, and fully regulated manner, strictly in accordance with Government of India, Government of Tamil Nadu, NCISM, and University norms.
Government Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital admits students to the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (B.A.M.S / Ayurvedacharya) programme through a centralized counselling process. Admissions are based on NEET merit, reservation policies, and eligibility conditions prescribed by competent authorities. The college does not collect any capitation fee or donation.
Candidates seeking admission must fulfill the following criteria as prescribed by statutory authorities:
Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent examination
Subjects required: Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Must have studied English as a compulsory subject
Must meet the minimum qualifying marks as notified by Government / Regulatory Authority
