The Department of Panchakarma deals with the specialized Shodhana (purificatory) therapies of Ayurveda, which aim at eliminating the root cause of diseases by cleansing the body of accumulated toxins and restoring Dosha balance. Panchakarma forms an integral part of Ayurvedic clinical practice and is widely recognized for its preventive, curative, and rejuvenative benefits.
The department provides comprehensive training in therapies such as Snehana (oleation), Swedana (sudation), Vamana, Virechana, Vasti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana. Emphasis is placed on patient assessment, procedural accuracy, safety, and post-therapy care, in accordance with classical guidelines.
